The Rainbow album before the classic Deep Purple lineup reunite.
After three hard rock albums with Ronnie James Dio Rainbow changed direction to a more commercial and album oriented rock style. Bent out of Shape is Rainbow's seventh album released in September 1983. It is pretty much in the spirit of commercial rock at the time. Similar to bands like Jefferson Starship, Eddie Money, John Waite, etc.
A solid rock record which contains the singles "Street of Dreams" and "Can't Let You Go" along with the instrumental "Snowman."
Although, no Ronnie James Dio, Joe Lynn Turner gives and excellent vocal performance.
